A grandad got so frustrated with all the rust on his car that he decided it was best to remove all of it by driving the vehicle into a pool filled with Coca-Cola.

The 73-year-old spent over $8,000 on bottle of Coke for the experiment and it took him two days to fill the pit with the soft drink. He said that his children and other relative abroad helped him fund his little experiment. After completing his Coca-Cola pond, his first experiment was to pour 40 Kilos of baking soda into the pool to see if there was a chemical reaction.

But after the first experiment, it was time to move on to the main event. Wearing a crash helmet, he rams his car into the pool. Unfortunately, he drove the car slightly too fast and smashed in the front of the vehicle into the opposite side of the pit.
