For those of us that know Lacosta know that she would rather chill out eating grass all day than to move faster than a halt. She can be pretty fore handed (her first step is always to fall in-as we can see especially in the canter). She needs a ton of leg and it's hard to keep your leg still as it almost needs to be constantly moving for her to feel it.But perks of Lacosta is she is not spooky at all and is actually quite fun once she realizes that we're jumping For those of us that know me know that I used to get scared of riding antrhing faster than a slow walk and trying new things(such as jumping with all the new sensations and the learning curve) gives me anxiety, but perks of me is I can bring a ton of calmness to a horse because I can be super patient and move along slowly. But here we are doing it together!! We've both have come such a long way(heck I couldn't even canter longer than two strides without freaking out or almost falling off just about a month ago and Lacosta couldn't even trot a full lap without stopping every 3 seconds)and I wish I had videos of me riding in the past to compare this to however this does give me a ton of feedback to see things I gotta work on and how much I've worked on already Vid creds to my mum hahah #progress #jumpersintraining #babylearners #lacosta #whale #equine (at Reverence Stables)
