So I’ve been away from the fandom/tumblr for ages and I come back and people are freaking out about the tv show? Did I miss some news? :u

You are asking the wrong lady, my dude. I barely know what’s going on.

Last time I heard anything about the TV show it was /something/ about the newest season being focused on original characters (yay!) and then, I believe, a writer for the show brought up the point that they, possibly others, didn’t really look at the TV show as following movie!canon (obvi/yay!) and, predictably, they received some rather ungracious responses from a portion of the fandom (ugh).

that’s my loose understanding, at least :/
