Do you prefer drawing fandom stuff or your own characters? Primarily fandom, usually in a 'this background and/or under developed character is mine now' sort of way. But I also enjoy making my own characters for pre-established universes because it lets me indulge in a whole new level of 'fuck around and find out', which is fun in its own right. Your favourite music to draw to right now? Actually don't draw to music anymore! The last time I did, it was 'Shut up and Dance' by Walk the Moon, on repeat for the best part of 18 hours while I was working on a portfolio. Nowadays I'm more of a podcast person, my go to's are: [Old Gods of Appalachia] [Knifepoint Horror] and [Lore]

Pre Relationship: Who felt romantic feelings first?

Definitely Felix. Even just watching her exit the Unreliable the first time and them walk over to him left him with a weird feeling, one he wasn't familiar with. When he followed her round the Groundbreaker and heard her chat and lightly flirt with other people, it sent a pang through his heart. Didn't take him too long to figure out what it meant :)

General: Were they eachothers first anything? (Kiss, relationship etc...)

Felix was Orions first real everything. She had spent the year before boarding the Hope living with a man on Earth for a longhaul undercover job, but she refused to let him touch her and didn't feel anything for him. She's had a, uh, lot to learn with Felix, but he's more than experienced enough for the both of them and is plenty willing to teach her

Love: How often do they hug/ engage in PDA?

Not as often as Felix would like. Ori is pretty shy and can feel a bit sick if there's a lot of eyes on her so he keeps it to a minimum, only hugging or kissing her if there's no one else around. Though he has started holding her hand a lot, but she doesn't mind that so much as it's more of a support thing :)

Domestic life: Do they have any pets?

Just Anubis the canid! Felix wants a small army of Sprats, and Orion nearly caved, but the rest of the crew were very vocal about how much they would hate that. It's okay though, Felix said he was willing to settle for a Mega Mantiqueen instead.

10. What is a small thing that one another does to make their partner happy?

Rhea always listens when Felix has something to say when she’s able to. So if they are relaxing and he’s telling some story or talking about tossball/a serial, she will listen and ask questions. Felix knows people tend to dismiss him, not that that stops him from talking, but to know that she will listen makes him happy.

Felix tends to catch on when Rhea pushes herself to far or gets uncomfortable around some people. If she’s tired he try to tell her in an indirect way to go to sleep. It’s pretty obvious what he’s doing but Rhea appreciates that he cares. And when she is around people and she starts to get uncomfortable, he will touch her hand, arm, or back in a soft way as a gentle reminder that she’s not alone and that he will always be there to support her.

Anger 13. for Rowan please

The Outer Worlds, Rowan Dane, first visit to Groundbreaker

“Come back here right now!”

Rowan flinched, felt lightheaded, heart hammering in his chest. What had he done? He hadn't done anything. He must've done something. They wouldn't yell for no reason. They wouldn't -

"Captain?" Parvati looked at him with concern.

Rowan looked at her. She wasn't afraid. "What - " He looked around the Promenade. Some people were running away, behind them, toward the far end.

"Someone got desperate enough to steal something, I expect," Parvati said, with sympathy. "Not that stealin's right. But you hear how people get desperate..." Her voice trailed off. "Are you okay?"

It wasn't meant for him. Rowan still felt lightheaded, but that would go down, at least for now, until something else. Because he had known, in that moment, that they had figured out he wasn't Captain Alex Hawthorne, that the Unreliable wasn't his ship, and he was absolutely going to be punished for it.

Do they sleep with a nightlight on or prefer total darkness?

Not so much a stereotypical nightlight, but Five’s apartment is high enough up that he can leave his blinds open without the fear of anyone really being able to look in, so he does. In doing so he gets that good ol’ neon glow from Night City, pretty much 24/7 through his window. At this point, if he’s going to be totally honest about it, he’s so used to it that total darkness would feel a little odd now.

6, 2, 5 and 4 of the ship questions please!

If you had told one of them that the other would be their soulmate, what would they think? 

DOUBT.JPEG. Besides Sam’s belief that love isn’t for her, Max thought the idea was too sentimental. Max knew Sam was 100% his type, and Sam was into him as well, but soulmates? Well, they’re An-Tet, which is pretty damn close.

Did they have an official first date? If so, what was it like? 

In my Sims 4 file they went to a nice park! In-universe? Not really. They got their own table at the Lost Hope and had a few drinks after the whole Scylla thing but that was about it.

Who initiates kisses? 

They both do! Not in public, usually, but in private they’re about an equal split. Max will initiate while they’re relaxing, Sam will go in whenever she feels like it.

Do they have any pets? 

Anubis is a surprisingly great Farm Canid. Sam steals Oingo, Noah’s dog, when he visits. Sam eventually gets chickens and whatever passes for goats in Halcyon.
