Full Name: C’laihn Venator

Pronunciation: Ka-Lane  Ven-ay-tor Nicknames: Lain, Jumps

Height:  ~6′0″  Age: 27 Zodiac: Scorpio, Nald’thal Languages: Common

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS.

Hair Colour: Black with purple streaks, although in some lighting it looks dark purple overall. Eye Colour: Light violet Skin Tone: Tanned Body Type: Broad, athletic Accent: C’laihn sometimes hitches his aitches a bit from his tribal upbringing, but otherwise he has a washed Eorzean accent. Dominant Hand: Left hand. Posture: Generally, Lain’s posture is fairly laid back and lazy. He doesn’t like sitting properly in a chair as he’s more apt to crouch, slouch or lean. Constantly fidgets or wiggles. His ears & tail’s positions are the most important, as it often displays his feelings. Although unlike most Miqo’te, his tail wags and is very dog-like in appearance and mannerisms.  Scars: C’laihn has a diagonal scar between his eyes, angled downwards towards his right and a smaller scar that just nicks the left side of his jaw. There are a smattering of rough spots & scars over his body, but nothing that stands out above the average hunter otherwise.  Tattoos: He has an elaborate black tattoo over his left shoulder blade that’s nonsensical to most who see it, but looks very tribal, large and means quite a lot to him. His brother Vincint has a matching tattoo upon his right shoulder blade. 

CHILDHOOD.

Place of Birth: Thanalan Hometown: His tribe moved quite a lot, so wherever his tribe was currently in the desert.  Birth Weight / Height: 10 pz 8 oz Manner of Birth: Natural, but ended up killing his mother due to trauma.  First Words: “Yum!”  Siblings: Older brother, C’vihnt (Vincint) Venator - Alive Parents: Father, C’viht Nunh - Deceased, Mother, C’arath Iln - Deceased  Parental Involvement: Due to their mother dying in childbirth and the tribal atmosphere, the brothers were raised by the other females of the tribe. However, their father gave them a lot of attention early on due to favoring their mother and took on a mentorship role for a bit. When his father passed away, C’laihn spent a lot of his time with the huntmaster of the tribe and learned most of his skills from her. Eventually though, the brothers ended up leaving once they hit adulthood.

ADULT LIFE

Occupation: Hunter of beasts or monsters.  C’laihn will sometimes take up treasure hunting with his brother as well.  Current Residence: The Lavender Beds Close Friends: Lain considers his brother Vincint to be his best friend. Otherwise he’s incredibly close to Yuti Kyis & Sylvistral. Due to his personality, he really enjoys all his friends though. Relationship Status: Recently engaged to Yuti Kyis!  [ @yutikyis ] Financial Status: On his own he was poor due to giving his gil away or donating to his brother’s hobbies. Yet now that he’s settled with Yuti, he’s much better off since she helps him with the concept of “saving.”  Driver’s License: Lain is the vehicle.  Vices: Food (specifically hot chocolate & meat,) hiding Vincint’s guns

MISCELLANEOUS.

Hobbies to Pass the Time: Jumping, hunting, exploring, sun bathing, making simple jewelry (feathers are his favorite to incorporate because to him they’re lucky,) leaping, practicing with his spear, swimming, and probably some more jumping.  Mental Disorders: Technically none, although an incident brought up a triggering event in him. Only Yuti, Noah & Vincint know about it however.  Physical Illnesses/Disabilities: None Left or Right Brained: Right brained Fears: Not being able to jump, losing his brother (or Yuti now,) thunderstorms, things in his past popping up again.  Self Confidence Level: High. C’laihn is fine with his weaknesses and knows what he’s good at. It takes a lot to really affect his positive nature.  Vulnerabilities: His loved ones (he would do anything to keep them safe,) his ears (they’re hyper sensitive and prone to hurting with loud noises,) his easy/gullible nature, he’s illiterate, & he dislikes physical conflict with people.
