(1990) Avenger
eh, yknow, its got that energetic adventure "let's go" beat. stuff like TJCD0011_18.
it leans into so-so territory for me, but it also has fun beats like TJCD0011_21 and 23
towards the end we have TJCD0011_33 which sounds quit a bit like a boss beat, and it rips! a standout imo!
(1994) Brandish
it's brandish! a fully arranged soundtrack that's unique from the OST i have (or maybe i have an ost to a sequel? there are song matches tho...)
anyway some of these are quite fun. "Assassination" feels totally different from its SNES counterpart but i really appreciate it for that!
some tracks are quite a lot softer than their snes counterpart, like "Synchronicity" (which i like)
"Driven By Revenge" isn't exactly "louder" but it's like. jazzier. this is also cool.
HECD4007_24 is my fav "hard" track but i cant quite figure out which song is being arranged...
(1990) Faerie Dust Story: Meikyuu no Elfeene
u've got an anime OP and ED and then some really charming rompler orchestral adjacent stuff.
and then, most critically, rompler JAMS! i think "Shoot" is my fav. good stuff
(1989) Last Alert
jams B)
check out that fake dist guitar on TJCD9004_05
(1993) Moonlight Lady
i love this palette. i love this rezzy synth that keeps popping up.
check out the guitar and brass in HECD3003_06!!
but it does also have a sillier side with that flute in HECD3003_03. good stuff overall
(1989) Valis III
rippin redbook rendition of some tunes i quite liked on the genesis. im listening to "Sword of Valis" and struggling to decide if i prefer this version or the MD version...
"Battle of Valis Part 2" is simply good. part 3 also. ok maybe all the parts lol
"4th Trap" best song overall though!!! delicious synthwork and fun weird arrangement!
