TN: Took quite a bit of liberty with his line towards Mahiru. “Let’s do our best” is actually “Yoroshiku”, which is mostly said when meeting someone new (”Nice to meet you”), but it also means “take care of me”, like in this case, Jun’s implying he’s counting on Mahiru to help with any monsters. And then “Don’t worry, I’m pretty reliable”... gave me trouble. He says “kou miete”, which is technically “Looks like this”, so literally it’d be “If you look at me like this, I’m reliable”, which... Made little sense. “kou miete mo”, with that mo at the end, is usually a “Even though I look like this” or “I may not look like it”, but there is no “mo”; apparently it can be used in that meaning without it, but tbh Jun looks plenty reliable to me, especially compared to Yumi and Tsurugi (I love them both but.........). So I went for something that kinda-sorta implies that he may not seem reliable instead.
Tsurugi draws in books, huh. Books he BORROWED, no less. Well. So that’s how it is then. Also Jun’s last sentence gave me some problems again. Like. I understood each of those words individually. Framing is definitely that “that guy” (aitsu = Tsurugi) has a habit (kuse aru). A habit to “kiite maaku suru” - listen to [???] and make marks. Who does he listen to? ... yeah wish I knew. “Yumi ni hannin dake”. So, “Yumi ni kiite” would be “listen to Yumi” (Tsurugi has a habit to listen to Yumi and make marks); “dake” means “only”, so if it were “Yumi dake ni kiite” it’d be that he has a habit of only listening to Yumi (Note, though, that “dake” means “only this [much], but it’s enough”; “only this [much] and it’s not enough” would be “shika”). Hannin means criminal, offender, etc, and the “dake” is technically at the wrong place to refer to Yumi. Literally it’d be something like “He has a habit to ask Yumi for only the criminal”, which doesn’t fit bc the criminal in this case is Tsurugi. Idk man. Jun uses words I know but then puts them in a sentence that still makes me go “?????”.
Also damn Tsurugi, just ask for the second ice cream serving lmao. I considered translating the last word (”kora”) as “Watch it”, it’s kinda just a general scold-the-other-person-word. (I have no reason to think so, but I personally like to imagine that Tsurugi just grabbed both ice creams/the entire package of ice cream, just bc it’d be funny)
C3 Trio Team is the same as it was with Tsurugi as the leader lmao.

T/N: I’m actually really unsure about that sentence just before the choice (”I didn’t ask...”). Just very literally word-by-word translationg would have been “Didn’t ask ‘Takuto wants to go to an amusement park with you’“ or “Didn’t listen ‘Takuto wants to go to an amusement park with you ’” (Since “kiku” can mean both ask and listen). So it could’ve also been “I didn’t ask Takuto if he wanted to come along” or “Takuto didn’t listen when I asked him if he wanted to come along” or “You didn’t listen when I mentioned that Takuto wants to come along”, or “Takuto didn’t ask me whether he could come along”, or... You get the gist. I do love how according to Jun, Taku-chan says he wants to go with the player. Not his dad. The player. Sorry Jun lmao, my kid now.
Takuto is very precious and must be protected at all costs. Also, I honestly really love how in every one of this trio’s routes, at least one of the others is mentioned. In Jun’s, he mentions Tsurugi at the end. In Yumi’s, Tsurugi talks during his phone call with you and he gets a call from either Tsurugi or Jun. And in Tsurugi’s, Tsurugi talks about going to the beach with Jun and Yumi and what they did there together. They care so much about each other and I love that that’s shown, y’know?
