Bokurano alternate continuity idea: Waku and Jun are both seers who are specialized in different things. Waku can only foresee bad things that are about to happen, and Jun can only foresee good things.

Despite this, their personalities and demeanors are still nearly identical to their canon counterparts. This is because Jun has every single positive thing in life spoiled ahead of time for him, making him so bored with living in general that he slaps his sister just to feel something. Waku, on the other hand, is only motivated by the horrible shit he foresees to be kinder and more decent to everyone because of it, and has learned to appreciate the little things whenever they do happen, leading to his bubblier and friendlier personality.

Headcanon: When Kanji and Jun were smol (like in elementary school), Kanji was the quiet, shy, and meek one, whereas Jun actually used to be incredibly outgoing and sociable. Their dynamic only drastically reversed when they became teens.
