ALTHOUGH HE TRIED TO FULLY STRAIGHTEN HIS BODY, THE BACK OF HIS HANDS SMACKED THE TRUNK OF A TREE BEHIND HIM. “Uh-” Where the hell am I?

HE DIDN’T REMEMBER GOING TO SUCH A PLACE. HIM, CASUALLY RESTING ON A BLANKET IN THE FOREST? IT WASN’T LIKELY, YET HE FELT AT PEACE HERE, WATCHING LEAVES SPIN AND LAND AROUND HIM. BACK AGAINST THE TREE, IT FELT LIKE HE WAS EMBRACED BY NATURE. NO, LITERALLY BACK HUGGED. TWO HANDS ON EACH OF HIS SHOULDERS. JUN TURNED TO SEE WHO IT WAS. RECEIVING, INSTEAD, A LOVING KISS TO HIS CHEEK. FROM BEHIND THE TREE, NAEUN WAS PEEKING OUT WITH A CUTE GRIN. A SUDDEN FLUTTER, FOR SOME REASON, RUSHED UP HIS THROAT. “Nae~” GLUED ON HER SMILING EYES, JUN CUPPED HER FACE TO LEAD HER TOWARD HIS LIPS THIS TIME.

HIGH PITCHED CHIMES, MUFFLED AND THEN CLEAR, WOKE JUN UP FROM THE DREAM. HE SMILED INSTANTLY AS HE SAT UP IN HIS BED TO READ THEM.

She lightly rub her cheeks to get rid of their color and caught his wrist so he couldn't go too far, "Ah... What about I buy the cake and feed you? Something sweet always pleases the heart."

The emotions spawned from conversations have always been the main impetus for him to even engage in being talkative. Always playing, prying, and testing the boundaries. Jun’s lips spaced and curled, as Naeun didn’t disappoint, he concentrated on her gestures. “I’m being mean now? Oh-” Her sudden switch to take a more dominant position, ..and touching me first? He groaned at the back of his throat, not even trying to control the volume. “..I would love to eat..” His pause had a purpose and it was as if he sent her a message with his eyes. But not really.. Snickering, “I would love you to feed me,” he corrected. Which was funny because the darkling could care less for physical food.
