That small cottage under the willow

Carshalton village é uma belezinha. Fica em Sutton, no sul de Londres e o único porém é ser o sul de Londres - ou seja, meio ruim de transporte. Difícil fazer uma foto sem meia dúzia de carros passando em frente. Não vi muitas lojas também, a high street é bonitinha porém modesta em termos de opções.

Porém um lago cheio de patinhos, gansos e garças tendo à sua margem um pub com cara de mansão vitoriana e um casarão belíssimo do século 17 que além de museu também é salão de chá com vista pra tudo isso? Compensa muita coisa.

P.S.: obviamente fiz amigos felinos. Essa pretinha ameaçou fofura e me deixou fazer um carinho, mas logo em seguida partiu calçada afora e adentrou um portão de ferro. The locals are friendly, but not really into conversation.
