Final breakfast at Kaffe Mercantile. Was perusing the menu and saw “B.S.I” as an option. The barista explained that it stood for “Big Sexy Italian.” So of course I got the thing on the menu that was clearly meant for me.

Star Trek: Ascendancy, but instead of playing I helped coach Mike for his first time playing. After two turns I realized he had figured out the Breen and, thanks to what would normally be a terrible draw of planetary systems, how to use its isolated and dangerous region of space to build an effective resource engine. I realized my coaching was no longer useful. He surprised everyone with an abrupt win.
The student became the master (or at least second-string substitute teacher based on my skill).
JunCon Pitch Car Cup champion heat. Dan, Eric, and Jeremy were the first three to get to the loop (“It's just the loop!”) and it only took 9 tries before someone (Eric) cleared it.
