Harmonist, herbalist apprentice, and professional bird watcher¹, June Bloom is the mule² tasked with giving today's presentation. ¹ June's mom pays her to watch for crows in the garden and to chase them off if she does
² Why did they do mules so dirty in the show? It's criminal to start the series with 'be there or be mule' and end it with a three way race war against the EUP and never bring up the mules again! 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮'𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙛 𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙮

Pruned my own roses too. Here’s the one plant adjacent the saffron bed. My roses bloom starting in June and cutting them back makes them grow fresh, healthy canes.
Roses are ridiculously prone to fungi and mold infections, and you want to prune off anything that isn’t healthy wood. Anything that really hung out and got damaged over the winter is now gone. There were a couple ends that had insect infections, which appear as a tiny bore hole and then a core of darker, rotted wood.

The world is being built. It is growing. It is on fire. It is collapsing. It is in bloom. It is in decay. And it is all these things at once.
