So I officially finished all 5 seasons of The Handmaid's Tale and I just want to say that I love that Nick told June he loved her twice with out her responding to it. then June told Nick twice that she loved him without him responding to it. And then finally in season 5 they both say it to each other and I just.... I am rooting for them so hard.

sometimes you don’t need a show to ask deep questions about justice and morality, sometimes you just need a pack of women chasing a rapist down in the woods and beating him to death, and that’s okay. that’s beautiful.

The handmaid's tale finale: small detail I liked

June didn't send Serena Fred's ring finger like I first thought.

Going back and watching it, it was his pinkie. Must be a callback to what happened to Serena.

Much as she loathes Serena, I think that was June's sly way of letting her know she got justice/revenge too, even if she didn't deserve it.

I think there was more to sending the package than just spite, although that was a big motivator too.

Nick Blaine finds himself trapped in Gilead with an unwanted new wife, who he is trying, and failing miserably to connect with, as he effortlessly and unwillingly climbs the ranks of the elite in a world he despises. The love of his life, June Osborne, is safe and out of reach in Canada with their daughter, a bittersweet source of endless sleepless nights. Or at least that is what he thinks.

  This story takes place a few months after 4x10 and it will follow into the The Testaments storyline. Basically this is my take on what I would like to see happening in season 5 as they transition into the spin off, and obviously won't happen. It's heavily based on Nick's POV, at least for most of the first part. It may contain spoilers from The Testaments.
