Stevie motherfucking Budd, hands down.

Ellen Claremont absolutely wants to do the right thing by her children. Her execution may sometimes be lacking but the intent is there, and as someone who had a parent without that intent, I can very much appreciate how clear it is that she loves her kids ❤️

4. Which fic are you using to scare away unwanted suitors?

Bold to assume my personality isn’t already doing that for me 😂

Probably Kinktober 2023? If I just stare them down while they read it I’m sure I can make them sufficiently uncomfortable lmao.

8. Have you ever been commissioned by the devil to write, and what were you offered as payment?

Yes. The time I woke up at like 5am and wrote a 1200 word 5+1 MCD fic out of fucking nowhere. My payment was the tears of my friends.

This fic was also unfortunately how I found out that more than a few Schitt’s Creek folks had gotten to the “I love everything MJ writes so I no longer bother reading the tags before diving in” point with my work which, while very flattering, resulted in A Fun Time for people haha.

24. If your WIP fell into a vat of toxic waste, how would it change?

Again, some big assumptions happening in this ask game about the number of WIPs I have 😂

Let’s go angstapalooza! If this fell into a vat of toxic waste I suspect we’d lose a lot of the happy times depicted in the fic and instead slam straight into the angst. Less time to breathe and more PAIN.
