June Lee is a Korean actress who spent her childhood traveling a lot. She speaks three languages (English, Korean, and Mandarin) and is a full time student at USC where she studies Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship at the prestigious Marshall School of Business, graduating at the top of her class, Beta Gamma Sigma, this May, 2015. She is known for hosting the Teen Wolf Aftershow on Maria Menounos’ Afterbuzz TV Network, Dear Betty (2014), Sister (2013), and Ear For Crime (2013).
As a fresh face in the industry, Lee has wasted no time catching up. She began training with actor Sal Landi at his studio in Hollywood, and continued to train with the Upright Citizens Brigade, and with Margie Habor. She will soon be starring in the Asian American Epic, Thoughts Afar in Moonlight, produced by Director, Jimmy Duong and Mount Hua Pictures, and will host the Afterbuzz Aftershow for ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat in the fall 2014 season.
Lee has leaped towards creative freedom early on in her career by branching out into writing, producing and directing. She recently started her own production house - Athena Pictures- which has released it’s first short film (spearheaded by Lee who also stars in the project) and is currently collaborating on a historical drama mini-series with writer/producer, Marc Haimes and Elevation Pictures. Lee is also collaborating with actors Robert Hoffman, Krytal Ellsworth, Hallie Jordan and Ashley London on the upcoming comedy web series Miss Glennside.
An avid advocate for entrepreneurialism and Asian American entertainment, she believes Asian Americans have a unique experience in America and deserve to be represented in mainstream America. Because of this, she has also started AMAZ (pronounced amaze) TV Network, a network dedicated to being a one stop station for all things entertainment and Asian American news & culture.
