Ah man, sorry that had to happen. I know that pain all too well. But if you miraculously find some time to do it, please do? I’d love to see it!
I still want to do the painting at some point. I've always wanted to try painting on aluminum because I like that I would be able to cut the painting in to weird shapes. I just won't be doing it for the show. ;_;
Oils take so long to dry and I'm not as comfortable painting with them, so I would need some extra time to get it to a place I like it. And then I think I have the way to put wire on the back to hang it up on the wall figured out, but if my idea doesn't work out, then I'd have no time to figure out an alternative. Sooooo, on to the never ending list of projects it goes!
I love Lin so much though. She's such a badass. Beifong family FTW!

8: (truth) If you could go on a date with any of your mutuals, who would it be and what would you do? (dare) Send an anonymous compliment to one of your four "Biggest Fans" on tumblr.
I did the dare, but I don't think it makes sense to share the compliment here? Because s/he would probably see it and it would spoil the anonymous part of it. ;)

4. Doing truth, because I'm not big into the selfie thing: What's the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?
I would have to say that anyone who has just been there for me when I needed someone.

WHOA THAT WAS FAST. I haven't even started! I'm still working on Ch.6 of One Year. And I can't wait! Don't post 'em yet, and add more plz? :D
Well, I don't have any other epic stories to work on in the meantime. And I shalln't! I've already edited them a little bit today, and there's probably a lot more where that came from. :D

That was GoGo fast
I AM EXCITE. THE THINGS MUST BE WRITTED.
OMG WINTER OF DISCONTENT SEQUEL AAAAHHHH
YES IT'S REALLY HAPPENING!
I've waited long enough!
Re: ask me questions about my obsessions with non-existent people - #2, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16
2. Favorite piece overall?
I think it would have to be Winter -- Winter is the one that started it all, and Winter is my baby. However, "I Will Be Right Here" is probably a close second for Reasons.
4. Which has the most "you" in it, however you'd define that?
Right now, I would say it's "I Will Be Right Here." That came from a pretty personal place, mostly having to do with my grandfather.
9. Favorite character to write?
Elsa! I love getting inside of her head and peeling back the layers. Anna is a close second.
10. Favorite line or lines of dialogue that you've written
“Maybe …” Marte glanced nervously between Anna and Elsa. “Maybe we’re going about this in the wrong way. Maybe, instead of just picking dresses, we should ask the Queen what she really wants to look like?”
“What do you mean?” Anna asked. “She wants to look like herself!”
I do? Elsa wondered.
“Well, I agree, Your Highness,” Marte replied, “but the problem is …” She gestured to the closet. “Her Majesty has quite a few selves to choose from.”
Still absurdly proud of this one, especially that last line.
11. If I'm showing off just one of your pieces to someone, which one should it be?
Well, don't show them Winter, because that will take forever ... I'd say "The Rules of Assembly." I'm proud of that one, because I think it showcases what I can do pretty well, but it's still short enough to not overwhelm someone. ;)
12. What WIPs do you have going now? Are you excited about them?
I'm working on Never Did Run Smooth, the follow-up to Winter. And whatever prompts come across my desk. NDRS is ... slow going. I think it's because I have a lot of setup to do in the beginning before I get to the really fun parts.
16. 3 favorite comments ever received on fanfic.
dreamswanderer's amazing review of "The Rules of Assembly"
elym13 said this for Chapter 8 of Winter:
So, I probably have the same inclination for M/F that you have for F/F ... but I'm going back to this chapter to tell you how much I love Nick. I wasn't expecting to, but I did. He's ... charming, that's all there is to it. Just charming. I also find your world interesting, much more broadly defined than many. The drawing room scene at the top of this chapter was divine ... you win my "most likely to be compared to Jane Austen" award, which since I love her is pretty high praise. I intend to continue and periodically review when I can find something beyond, "another fine chapter in a great work" to say. But yeah ... Nick is cool with me.
Between Jane Austen and liking Nick, I was pretty damn pleased. :D
And linesyounevergetback112 had this to say in response to "I Will Be Right Here":
This is such a touching story. I’m crying. I liked the line: “You have already made a fine start,” Idun answers, tapping Elsa’s nose again. “And tomorrow you shall keep going. And the next day, and the day after that.” And the idea that they would both be capable of understanding that love was the key. I do believe that, it’s so heartbreaking to me that they missed it for so many years since it’s clear they loved their daughters. Idun sewing a spiky angry Marshmallow plushie…you always seem to interject a bit of humor into emotional moments really effectively. I love that. Finally, perhaps it wasn’t your meaning, but I got the impression that Anna’s proximity not only opens the door for Elsa to feel her sister’s love but Idun’s (and later Agdar’s? It may take more time for him…) as well. I’m sure there were moments during her time in seclusion where both mama and papa at least attempted to provide love and touch and emotional nourishment to Elsa, but that it just got buried under more affecting, darker periods of being lonely and untouchable. I’m so glad you wrote this, it makes me feel so much.
I haven't properly responded to it, but lines (do you mind if I call you lines?) -- THANK YOU!
junemermaid03 this is what my message was to blunaowl
blunaowl, this is awesome! I loved how you integrated the commandline stuff into Baymax's internal dialogue about these nerds. I love how he calibrates himself while they talk about how cuddly he is xD.
