8: Favorite character you’ve written this year: umm, I think it would have to be Merlin from an upcoming wip titled In the Dark of Knight. He’s just been so much fun to write, I more or less resonate with him on several different levels, and I’m really excited to finally finish this fic and publish it so I can share him with others

9: Favorite writing song inspiration: lmao yall know i’m about to say Bad Bunny. I really like to write action and i feel like i’m good at it but who knows and his tracks are upbeat and peppy and they help me get into the scene and into the headspace easily. Taylor Swift, also, for that angsty romance vibe.

13. How do you feel with writer's block?

Gotta be honest, my first reaction at writer's block is to utter every swear word I know to vent my frustration 😂😂😂😂 In the past I used to try and force myself to write, block be dammed, but the result was mediocre chapters, something that readers realized. So now I simply give myself time to relax until the inspiration comes back naturally, whether it's in a couple of hours or even several weeks. Sometimes I listen to music or read books I like to expose myself to various stimuli.

16. Where do you take your motivation from?

My motivation to write comes usually from an inner need to vent negative feelings I might have at a period of time, or to express the various thoughts and images that appear in my head and concern various stories or fandoms I'm thinking about. Sometimes my motivation even comes after a specific series episode, movie, or chapter I particularly like (or that particularly frustrates me), when I just have to write something about it (usually a Fix-It 😂😂)

19. First line of a WIP you're working on.

Ooooh, I particularly love this one. I have several WIPs, but this one is one of my favorites:

"Everything changes at night, when silence lingers."

I haven't posted it yet, or even written a lot, but it's gonna be an Attack on Titan fanfiction, in which my OTP meets in a train and spends a day together (basically inspired by the movie Before Sunrise and the song Don't stop believing by Journey).

48. Favorite genre to write in.

I love writing drama, especially combined with romance developing during said drama. I just love writing about characters in miserable and dark situations, who still manage to find a lifeline and someone to share the burden with (yes, I am a masochist, I love drowning in misery while writing, I have accepted it).

Quentin doesn’t have to say how much he’s struggling, Eliot just knows. Because of course he does. It’s written in the slump of Quentin’s shoulders, in the circles under his eyes.

So when they’re finally alone, Eliot draws Quentin in, slowly, to rest against his chest. “Just breathe,” he says. “For a minute.”

He presses a kiss into Quentin’s hair, hearing him sigh, feeling his body relax. Softly, Eliot begins to sing a rendition of Everything’s Alright from Jesus Christ Superstar. And for a moment, everything is. 💖
