there’s a lot of things yoongi notices about people. when he works the late night shift at the convenience store, you see a lot of faces, know a lot of stories. yoongi’s not a talker naturally, he’s more of a listener, a quiet observer. he takes what he notices and makes notes, has something to mention the next time they come in. or, alternatively-- he has fun stories to tell his friends.
his fingers tap on the register screen tiredly, eyes half lidded as he finishes ringing up another customer. he doesn’t offer a smile as he bids them goodbye, merely bowing his head. his gaze lands on the door as another customer enters, mouth parted to greet them. but yoongi’s eyes fall a bit lower, at the splash of red on the girl’s coat. it’s a strange spot for it, out of place and looking decidedly awkward on the clothing. so instead, yoongi doesn’t offer a hello, but rather a snort and --
“you’ve got some red on you.”
