Getting to Arthur’s was not a matter of if, but when.  Unfortunately, she was up against a jungle to get there.  Along the way, she saw a familiar face wandering through the thick brush like her.  “Someone trying to be a hero?” she called out to him teasingly.

Astrid tried her best to remain calm as she watched the changes through her apartment window.  When that calm began to fail, she knew she couldn’t stay away from Aria any longer.  She knew she should probably text Arthur first, but he might try to convince her everything was fine and that wouldn’t make her panic go away.  It was a bit more difficult than she would have liked (it was times like these that she missed her dragon), but she eventually made it to his place and, panting and sweating, knocked on the door.
