“Come on sweet girl, eat your food,” she insisted, grabbing a spoonful of Aria’s food and holding it out for her to eat as she popped another bite of chicken into her own.  As Aria ate her food, Astrid glanced down at the book she was reading.  She was trying to broaden her interests a bit so her time wasn’t just spent at work or with Aria.  As she lifted her fork to take another bite, Aria shrieked excitedly, causing her to drop her fork.  “Shhh, sweetie,” she insisted, turning to apologize to the people nearby before she saw what her daughter was shrieking about.  “Is that Uncle Herc?” she asked her daughter, but loud enough for the demigod to hear.

Getting to Arthur’s was not a matter of if, but when.  Unfortunately, she was up against a jungle to get there.  Along the way, she saw a familiar face wandering through the thick brush like her.  “Someone trying to be a hero?” she called out to him teasingly.

Astrid + Hercules

SEND ME A FABLETON SHIP AND I’LL ANSWER THE QUESTIONS

Who cooks normally?: Astrid has mastered spaghetti and frozen meatballs, but if they want to eat anything else, they either get take out or Hercules cooks.

How often do they fight?: Not that often.  They’re each other’s best friends, so anything an issue pops up, they know how to work through it instead of full-on fight about it.

What do they do when they’re away from each other?: Astrid tends to send Hercules cute photos of Aria to show him what he’s missing when they’re apart… And sometimes dirty photos of herself if Arthur has Aria that day.

Who steals the covers at night?: Astrid will steal them sometimes, but usually Hercules is cuddled up with her that he doesn’t really notice.

Who remembers things?: Astrid can get a bit frazzled being a mom, so Hercules’ memory for things is better.

Who cusses more?: Astrid, but only when it’s the two of them and there’s no risk of Aria hearing and picking up the bad words.

Who takes longer showers?: Surprisingly Hercules, which baffles Astrid, but she’s gotten used to lightning speed showers since having her daughter.

What’s their favorite place to go together?: Everywhere?  Honestly, they could be anywhere and as long as they were together, they’d be happy.  One of the perks of being with your best friend.

Who’s more likely to burn dinner?: Hercules, which is why they do take out more often than not.

Who falls asleep on the couch?: Whenever Astrid tries to stay up when Hercules is working late, after putting Aria down, he usually finds her passed out on the couch.

Who sings in the shower?: Both do, and neither of them are that great, so the other always laughs about it when they hear it.

Who plans date night?: They take turns.  It’s never too elaborate, but they try to do something more special on anniversaries and birthdays.

Who wakes up first?: Astrid tends to, because she hears Aria moving around, but sometimes Hercules does and he takes care of Aria so Astrid can sleep in.

Who drinks all of the coffee?: Coffee is like Astrid’s life force, leaving Hercules to make sure there’s a pot on at all times for her.

Who starts getting into holidays way before they should?: Hercules, and Astrid finds it absolutely adorable.

Who initiates the couple selfies?: Hercules, and as much as Astrid pretends to be annoyed, she has him send them to her so she can keep them.

Who forgets the birthdays and anniversaries?: Again, because she’s got frazzled mommy brain at times, Astrid is most likely to forget stuff, but she keeps a calendar on her phone to avoid missing the big things.
