The phrase is simple, but so grand: an acknowledgment of your/my godhood, our ability to create what we will. Further, especially in these wild ass times, it serves as a reminder to calm the fuck down. _____ Peace, God. _____ So, as I moved my room around to make space, and put my equipment together, and raised the backdrop, and then rolled out the backdrop paper, and set up my camera....I found my peace. It didn’t stop anything going on in the world, but for a few hours, my mind wasn’t moving a million miles a minute. I was incredibly tapped in and that’s wtf I had been missing!! I felt..in control of something. I created a sweet spot, some breathing space, a pocket, a prayer. A prayer to God gratitude for what I have been given and a prayer of thanks for what’s to come. _____ Peace God. _____ To create is to find peace. For me.
