So… what happened to jungleclan being the main?

(No hate, I love both you just haven’t updated jungleclan in 4 months lol)

The simple answer is: this comic was received WAY better than I thought it would be, and I simply don’t have time to do both.

I do plan on finishing Jungleclan eventually though! Unlike Circusclan, Jungleclan has a fully fleshed out, set in stone story and only goes up to moon 20! I might work on Jungleclan again after I finish part 1 of Circusclan, but we’ll have to see!

This is the resilient Nightpaw from @jungleclan! Her and Cinnamonkit are alone after their clan mysteriously vanishes in the jungle. The setting is super unique, the art lovely, and I'm already invested in seeing what becomes of these characters!

Well I reckon'd I'd draw a little bit of interaction with Emberpurr from @tales-in-the-bayou and good ol' Rattlestar! We love us cats with accents in these parts <3 Also Featurin' Nightpaw from @jungleclan an' the good poke Kestrelstar from @echoes-in-echoclan ! -🎩

There's a story told in JungleClan, about the leader before Jaguarstar, Pacustar the Tall.

Pacustar was an old, old leader. She had no heir, and her clan waited with baited breath for her to announce one.

So when her niece gave birth, among the last of her close living kin, the clan watched with intent when the leader herself went to check in on the newborn. The story told is that of a grand leader, hunching over in the cramped, warm nursery, thick with milk-scent. At her paws, a tiny, mewling kit.

"She is small." The niece says. "But a single kit grows strong."

In the story, Pacustar smiles. Apprentices debate for moons on what they really saw- it couldn't have been a smile. A trick of the light, a rustle of leaves, perhaps. But no smile had ever crossed Pacustar's lips, so why start now?

In the story, Pacustar smiles. And she says, "She is perfect."

heck asked for pacustar and jaguarpaw interacting. pacustar is a long-dead JungleClan leader who commanded massive respect around the island, and if not respect, healthy fear. She was said to be taller than even Chubclaw, the largest cat on the island, although not as broad.

she was not a cruel leader, the contrary, but she maintained careful composure at all times. the only one to ever break it was her beloved Jaguarstar, great niece in blood but daughter in heart. Jaguarstar admired Pacustar greatly, and takes everything she knows from her. Jaguarstar’s JungleClan is a less stable version of Pacustar’s, eaten away by termites of desire and ambition. But it still holds tight to the days of old where they once were the most well-respected clan on the island.

Jaguarstar would say she was hard to impress, but in truth, Pacustar only ever grew prouder of her, until her dying breath. Her only regret was that she never got to witness Jaguarstar as a leader.
