Okay. So, moment of truth. She'd arranged Beck to meet her at her place, and she'd gotten off work a little bit early (God bless the slow days). It gave her time to try calming herself down while she waited, but even with that time she still jumped slightly when she heard the doorbell ring.
Erika had to remind herself to breathe as she approached the door, and pulled it open to reveal Beck. "Hey, c'mon in." Okay, she sounded a bit more nervous than she'd wanted to. Erika moved aside to let Beck in, not even caring that she was still dressed up for work instead of the comfy PJs that she'd wanted to wear to help relax.
But, this was important. She had to be up-front about both her sexual interests and her anxieties about if they started up a relationship. Not to mention the images she'd had of him, just thinking about them had her flustered.
