Introducing: Junior Amoux (SYD), his voice will make you wanna grind something.
We all know someone like Junior Amoux – a suave sweet-talker that turns around to effortlessly whisper sweet nothings to the girl you’ve been struggling to chat to, right when you leave to grab another beer and work up the courage.
The Sydney charmer shows off a honey-tongued, autotune-tinged confidence in his tracks “All I Want” and “”Won’t Do”, reminiscent of the soulful style that propelled the likes of Bryson Tiller and Jeremih to fame. The melodic, 808-heavy production on the two tracks is PND-level spotless too.
Those ahead of the game would have peeped his new Tupac-esque diss track too - before it was removed from SC. In “Eye for an Eye”, he was more mass murderer than lady-killer. No idea who he’s mad at, but the Australian scene could definitely do with some more tongue-in-cheek, ruthless/playful rivalries.
