Today we slept in for quite a while. When we got up, we cleaned the house. Around 4 PM we went down to the beach and had a two hour practice. We worked on reacting faster to serves hit on the line and in the middle. I think we are getting better at these. Gracie served it and coached us. She drives us pretty hard, and I think she would make a good coach. Then Gracie led a nice core workout.
When we got home, mom made tortilla soup. It was our third meal out of one roast chicken! For dessert, Gracie made cookies and we filled them with ice cream. This idea was inspired from the Manhattan Beach Creamery ice cream cookie sandwiches. I think Gracie’s were better ; )
