farm chores & animal love 🥲

i'm such a sucker for the animals in this game, y'all. juniper is the farmer in this legacy challenge and has the animal enthusiast trait, so i am eatin' UP all the gameplay. honestly sad i'm too sleepy to play any tonight, but it made me happy to play around with these photos and think of ideas for tomorrow. ✨

Meet Juniper Bright! The very first heir of The Postcard Legacy Challenge I've decided to start.

She is ✨The Farmer✨ and has the "Animal Enthuthiast" (part of the challenge), "Loves Outdoors", and "Farmer" (mod) traits.

I'm currently building her a tiny home cottage, because she inherited 25k to start out with and I need to budget for her aspiration as the Country Caretaker!

Here are the other objectives, if you're curious:

Lot challenges: "Simple Living" & "Wild Foxes"

Have at least 1 llama, 1 cow, and 1 chicken coop

Get the "Green Thumb" reward trait

Complete the plants collection

Win at least 3 times at the FInchwick fair in Henford

Befriend wild birds and bunnies

All children must complete the Mental aspiration

The creators (hey, @sojuteatime!) of the challenge also gave these optional goals:

Get nosy! Matchmake or break up 2 sims in Henford. 

There will be consequences! If you matchmake 2 sims, you will have to pay for their wedding (1,000 simoleons). If you break up 2 sims, you must marry one of them.

Run at least 1 errand everyday for the townies in Henford. 

Acquire the “Outdoorsy” lifestyle for both your sim and their spouse.

Master these skills: Cross-stitching, Gardening 

I am definitely using mods, including some of the ones the creators of the challenge suggested, which I thought was really cool. I've always wanted to do a legacy challenge like this and I feel really inspired right now! I had a lot of fun editing the screenshots for this and I'm actually excited to go back into my game today and continue building. :)

she's just so cute, i can hardly stand it. like, is she juni bright or is she snow white, ya know?

she takes being an animal enthusiast to a whole new level, i swear. warms my tired heart right on up, i swear. 💚

juni's heart swelled as she remembered her first date with kira during a rainstorm and she knows she will never forget this moment, exchanging vows with the love of her life in their sweet lil cottage in the countryside.

the whole house is filled with joy as juni slips kira's ring on to her finger and they realize they can finally call eachother wife & wife.

they don't need anyone else there to celebrate with them, this lil cozy elopement couldn't have been more perfect in their eyes. juni sweeps kira off her feet before spending the rest of their night in matrimonial bliss together at home, in peace. just how they like it. 💖
