what are some absolutely devastating details about your OCs you haven't been able to share?

hello anonymous! lucky for you i have lots of devastating details about my ocs that i haven't been able to share

in season two of future ghosts, rosie once offhandedly mentioned that she was 40 something pounds, which wasn't true. if she was 40 pounds as a nine year old, she would be very extremely underweight, and although rosie was exceptionally scrawny, she was not that underweight. she thought she was 40 pounds because she hadn't been to the doctor since she was 40 pounds, which was when she 5/6 years old ...

despite juni's friendly demeanor, she did not really have any friends growing up. kids thought she was odd, and when she did make a friend, they eventually drifted apart because juni couldn't hang out outside of school. kids' parents wouldn't allow their kids to go to the dixons' house, and daryl didn't trust anyone enough to leave juni alone at their house.

mazzy sometimes gets nightmares about her mom, but she doesn't consciously remember much about her mom at all, so she doesn't even realize that it's her mom who is in those nightmares. to her, it's just some woman she doesn't fully recognize.

warren spent the first seven years of his life almost entirely alone. he was rarely allowed to see his papa. most of the interaction he had was with guards and scientists who tormented him and experimented on him. the first time he met a kid his own age, he had to kill the kid. he left hydra with literally no social experience.

ruth's dad died when she was four and she doesn't find out the truth about how he died until she's sixteen.

cori has eye bags because of how many times she wakes up in the middle of the night crying for her mama. she loses her voice often, too, because of how much screaming she does, whether it's calling for her mom or shouting at clint or just screaming to scream.

ivory can't stand to hold her phone half the time because some part of her still expects her dad to send her a text asking what movie she wants to watch that night.

eli!! eli my new oc you guys know nothing about :p here's a not so fun fact about eli: eli had a horrible habit of wetting the bed growing up. it was a habit he had mostly managed to get rid of when he was eight, but it would still happen every once in a while when he had particularly horrible nightmares. it happened once when he was in juvie, which earned him a plethora of awful nicknames all including the word piss. eli hated those names more than he hated other nicknames he had earned, because the bedwetting wasn't even his fault; it was his nightmare's fault, and all he wanted to do was forget his nightmare. but the nicknames were only reminders of the nightmare. the only person who didn't call eli any of those awful nicknames was one andrew minyard, who had instead taken to calling eli pest. eli didn't mind that one so much.

Hey max! I hope this isn't a lot to ask but I'm trying to work on a fan art piece for Daryl and Rosie (out of pure boredom and bc I've been in an art block for months) and I was wondering what Rosie's outfits look like throughout the seasons?🤔 and also another random question because i was thinking about it- what r some of ur OCs favorite colors?

I imagine little Rosie as dressing like a little 2000s boy would, since most of her clothes were hand-me-downs from Fraser. In the summer, she wears boys knee-length shorts mostly because that's what she's used to and comfortable with, but she'll wear shorter girls shorts too. She's no too picky about it as long as it's not tight or itchy or anything like that. For shirts, she just wears whatever t-shirts she can find. In the winter i like to imagine her wearing a long sleeve, a t-shirt over that, a hoodie over that, and a too-big jacket over that, looking like she's made more out of clothes than she is out of human. Daryl keeps her bundled up of course. She also probably took Carl's hand-me-downs. As for shoes, she wears her red cowboy boots until they get to Alexandria, which is when she gets a new pair of converse. Older Rosie, I imagine dressing a little more like her fc (natalie from Yellowjackets) but not entirely. I think she'd wear lots of cargo pants (practical but also cool af) and shirts she finds in stories, and some given to her from other people as well. And of course her leather jacket!! For shoes she wears purple converse at this point i believe?? Or blue ones? i think purple. But she'd also wear some cool boots I think. Just like the line between practical and her personal fashion taste?? Idk how to describe the way i imagine her dressing so here's some stuff from Pinterest ⬇️

i am not well versed in conspiracy theories so take this with a grain of salt 😟

rosie: aliens. rosie believes wholeheartedly that aliens exist. she doesn't need proof

juni: bigfoot is real. out of pure hope. she wants to hug the guy

warren: the government killed jfk..... not that he doesn't have proof. the kid's dad is the winter soldier

mazzy: titanic didn't sink. "dad, one iceberg? the unsinkable ship was sunk by a little iceberg?" "MAZZY, 1500 PEOPLE DIED. ITS REAL"

ruth: sirens are responsible for most shipwrecks

ivory: amelia earhart was eaten by grabs. also the illuminati is real

cori: all of them because it pisses people off

hii!! i would love to talk about my sweet baby junebug

• juni loves fiona apple, amy winehouse, mazzy star, and björk because that's the type of music birdie always played when june was little. but she also likes a lot of metal music because that's what merle and daryl would play. on her own time, though, i think she would discover and love the lumineers, bon iver, and mumford & sons.

• merle used to say that june had a "resting worried" face because she always looked a little bit scared, even when she was just fine lol

• she is definitely the type of person to say her favorite holiday is halloween when it's around halloween, and then christmas around christmas, easter around easter, etc. she just can't choose.

• june loves loves loves spring ! she likes the think that the world is healing from the winter

• she's super duper gullible. you could tell her the sky turned pink for five days every twenty years and she would believe you.

• she loves the idea of loving bugs, and she tries really hard to, but they always make her squirmy

• if she were alive now, i think she'd collect sylvanian families / calico critters

• juni is the type of person to want to pick flowers but feel bad because then she's killing them :(

Hi there, hope you're doing well! Just found out you had this Tumblr for your writing too so I might as well ask my questions here :D

I'm currently rewatching The Walking Dead and I like Carol and Daryl's relationship so much (platonic!!!) so I was wondering about Junebug and what relationship she has to Carol and vice versa? Also, how will she feel about the other kids/teens at Alexandria and the one that will arrive later like Henry or Lydia?

juni and carol have a fine relationship ! carol feels very protective over her (because obviously she'd wanna protect daryl's light) but she shows it in more subtle ways. she and juni will grow a little closer when they get to alexandria though!!

when juni meets sam and ron and all the early-on alexandria kids, she likes them a lot !!! she just feels very shy sometimes. but later on when she meets lydia and henry, she's a bit older and lot less happy, so she kind of secludes herself from them for a while. it takes a bit for them to be able to form any sort of relationship with her because her walls are built so tall and thick that they can't climb over them or break them down. she's also very much distracted by something throughout that era of time

Would any of your OCs get tattoos?

yeah !!! mazzy would definitely get a tattoo, as well as rosie and older juni. i think warren would be too scared to get one. same with agnes, ian, and ruth. devin would absolutely get one, though. maybe cori would get one, but i'm not sure she'd have much interest. maybe a tattoo for her mama.

am i missing anyone?? i feel like i'm missing someone

How old is Juniper now?

eleven almost twelve!! (i think.... i never know how much time has passed during time jumps and everything so i just guess😭 websites have said that s5 is 1.5 years into the apocalypse, and juni was twelve at the beginning, so she's either eleven or freshly twelve)
