“Ah...it’s happened only...few times before...” Garridan flashed a nervous smile, fear in his light hues. “But, never mind that. I...it’s all in the past, as he would say...” Shaking his head, the blond tried to wipe the image of Stanislav’s anger away. The vampire didn’t mind that Kiki had been getting close to the king, he only hoped she’d never have to see Stanislav angry. It really, really wasn’t pretty.
At Kiki’s comment of the possibility in Garridan forging his relationship with Stanislav again, he smiled sadly. Oh, sweet Kiki. She was always so optimistic, looking to the better side of things. As much as Garridan tried, he always found himself taking on a more pessimistic view in the world. “Perhaps you’re right...”
“And yes, this should be--” He froze as Kiki took the list, and he bounced on his heels slightly until the wiccan handed him the sheet of paper once more. “--this should be fun.”
Allowing Kiki to take the lead, Garridan meekly followed her, finding himself reaching into his pocket and pulling out a gemstone--sodalite--and he allowed himself to fidget with it. Holding the shopping list in his hand, his eyes searched the list once again. As Kiki grabbed the shopping cart, he looked up towards the signs, unsure of where to go. He seemed to be overwhelmed, the way his light hues widened. However, perhaps due to the stone’s influence and lack of crowd, he didn’t seem too anxious to be there.
“Oh...ah, w-why not we...how about you pick out some snacks? That w-way I can store them at my house, and...hm, should I buy more tea, I wonder-?” Tilting his head, he continued to fidget with the beautiful blue gem in his hand; brushing his thumb over the relatively smooth surface. “Nevermind, ah...I rambled.”
Looking to the wiccan, his eyes seemed to shine with excitement as he gave a nod of encouragement. “Please, lead the way!”
“Yeah we should get tea... oh and hot chocolate! In every flavor....” she leans against the cart handle as she pushes it leading them to the food section of the store. “Hmmm...chips are a good start...” her eyes browse the selections and she throws a bag of Doritos and Cheetos in the cart. “These are Doritos and Cheetos they taste like cheese but if cheese was a chip with powder on it...” she wasn’t sure how much Garridan knew about modern day food so she took it as an opportunity to teach. As they kept walking it was clear she was on the hunt for junk food, as she skipped past any real meals. When they got to the candy and pastry and cookie aisle she went a bit extreme. “These are cookies they are a type of sweet that come in many flavors and this stuff is candy they are also a type of sweet that comes in many flavors” She grabbed about ten different kinds of cookies and dumped them into the cart and then proceeded to grab one of each candy she liked, which was most of them. She then chose out some packaged cake treats. “It’s important to stock up that way they’ll always be something for me to eat! Oh yeah don’t we need some stuff for that cake we are gonna make?”
