@scrapfragger liked x for a starter!
Gaige at least seemed to have her bearings in the city by this point, at the very least enough to get around for food and pick out how to get back to the house she was staying in. What she didn’t have was money or any resources to get up to any work that’d be useful in getting out of here. Sure, she’d be able to make something of whatever she got her hands on, but getting her hands on them was the issue. Oh yeah- and tools. Brilliant as she was, she couldn’t will metal to be welded. Not yet anyway...
The need for stimulation through technological engineering led her to the city’s junkyard. She couldn’t quite get a bead on the overall level of tech this place had, so it was time to just make do with whatever they had. Of course, without those tools she couldn’t do a whole lot, but scrounging around for parts in the meanwhile wasn’t too bad an idea! Armed with a cardboard box for storage, she made her way around, gutting anything that interested her and stowing away her favorites.
“Hmm...” Diving into the pile before her, Gaige hoisted out a microwave oven. “Maybe...yeah, if it’s not busted...!” With absolutely nobody around to question her, she set the microwave on its side, using her feet to clamp on and create leverage. Her mechanical arm, meanwhile, pried hastily at the panel facing upwards, reaching and fiddling around to find the best grip she could on the smooth surface! “Hnng...come on, stupid...old-ass tech...”
