Your love for Baekhyun had faded, dispered into thin air, and no matter how hard you tried to regain the once love you craved so much for, you couldn’t.
It was mid June when you realized Baekhyun was no longer your everything, when you had came back from your trip, and looked into his warm brown eyes, that you realized you felt nothing. Immediately you pushed aside those thoughts, thinking maybe it was just some lost feelings, maybe they’d come back. Maybe the grueling black hole in your heart would close. But that wasn’t at all the case. And that hole only got wider.
It took two months for you to realize that the man who laid next to you for 13 months no longer meant the world to you. He no longer made you smile at the sight of him, no longer made you happy. You didn’t understand how these feelings could suddenly dissapear out of thin air.
You seeked help to close the hole in you heart desperately seeking anyone, who understood why and how. Of course Baekhyun knew nothing of where you were going these late night, you hoped this would be for the better.
But then you met Oh Sehun, and suddenly your world had turned itself around. You had yourself wondering why his eyes looked more comforting then Baekhyun, why you felt this pull to him the first ever time of laying eyes on him. You felt the familiar feeling of butterflies tossing in your stomach, the hole in your heart slowly diminishing by the second, but then you thought about Baekhyun, how he was home alone and how horrible this was. Because you were falling in love with another man, because this hole should’ve never happened, and you should’ve never came here in the first place.
As soon as you rushed home and opened the door, you were surprised with roses spread along the floor, the vanilla candles lighting you towards a path. You didn’t know why you felt this unsettling feeling in your stomach. But as son as you saw Baekhyun on his knee holding a tiny box in his hand, a shimmering ring, staring right back at you, and the words “will you marry me” on a banner above the bed.You understood why. But the word that came out of your mouth was so unexpected you yourself were honestly a bit taken back, but now there was no turning back.
