my oc juno k is a jellyfish pirate. they joined because johnny met them in jail after they got arrested for stealing bread (it was more than that but that’s what they got caught doing) and mostly because he said something along the lines of
“you are 10 years old why are you in jail 😭😭😭”

they were born to two academics of south asian descent, who died a very violent death (killed by gears) circa 2175~ when juno was 5 years old. they managed to escape the same fate as their parents, but seeing all that take place at such a young age shook them. they didn’t have any other relatives to go to, so they spent the next few years drifting around and getting by by stealing shit 🔥🔥 Yeah I made an orphan pickpocket child OC Charles Dickens who
they eventually got caught and arrested in 2180 as i mentioned earlier. they’d been caught before but the authorities of the area kept letting it go because they were 10. this happened like 8 times and then they were like. When You Gonna Learn? /ref and arrested them
a lot of shit happened (hand wave) and they ended up meeting johnny in jail and that’s how they joined the jellyfish pirates
other trivia stuff:
they’re transmasc non binary (they/them for them please!!)
born sometime in june (june - juno ahhhh) of 2170 (therefore about 17 in strive)
they don’t know their surname, they only remember it starting with a k. their initials are kind of a nod to Jay Kay of Jamiroquai because they’re my favorite band
they were originally under the impression that them joining the jellyfish pirates was some sort of ‘deal’ so they could pay johnny back for getting them out of jail, johnny does not remember ever saying this
this leads to them crying one day like “i don’t wanna leaveee sushksuf a fishfnaina s fjajsdhsjks” and everyones like. “Nobody mentioned this. Juno where are you getting this from”
they look up to johnny in a father figure and gender envy kind of way
juno used to steal clothes johnny didn’t wear anymore because they “didn’t like the way the women’s clothes fit”
they came out to johnny while he was eating a sandwich and he was like “Ya we know”
they’re pretty good friends with may!! they’re a fibre artist (usually crochet) and she’s the recipient of most of the things they make
