jun0week day 5; AU Time!!
I couldn’t think of anything too amazing for AUs, so I went with a classic; Pokemon AU Juno, doing his job as a Pokémon daycare assistant ☺️
This year I turn 24. And if I must be open and real for a moment, this was never a number I thought I’d ever get to. My high school self never saw a life post-graduation, and was terrified of the concept of growing up. Perhaps it was the prospect of losing what I had in childhood, or what I could do with the limited time that was quickly coming to a close. How it all felt like some big final chapter to something I didn’t want ending. But, despite that, despite that chapter of my life coming to close, despite so many of other things making themselves chapters of my life that I wish hadn’t; I’m still here. I’m still here, lucky enough to have people in my life that care for me, to have a family that loves me, to have a job I genuinely look forward to working, to have people here like you reading and enjoying the things I want to make. I cannot express enough how lucky and grateful I am to have the life that I do. As many bad hands as I’ve been dealt, I am just as fortunate enough to get as many good ones. Life’s difficult. There’ll forever be things we wish we could do differently. But to keep going forward and see what we can do next is all we can do. It’ll always be easier said than done, but I hope you all know just how loved you are. May it be by the people in your day-to-day life, or by the people you talk to online. This has turned into a big ramble, but I guess all I wanna say is; Thank you. I’m truly grateful of what I’ve got, and I hope I can keep all this up for the other years that are ahead of us! Here’s to 24 😎🎉✨
