As the moon sits high in the evening sky, Mya takes a break from her tattoo stall, she preferred to work with the light of the sun on her side, after all.
Returning to her quiet setup on the edge of the lake, she reclines in the tiny dinghy she had found previously, kitted out with some cushions and blankets, with a few books tucked underneath for safe keeping. Her plan was to have a moments rest from the noise before heading back in to socialise, for now she just fancied watching the muds in the water having a good time. A few she recognised, but most of which were new faces.
She notices two mudokons stood on the edge of the water, they must be overseeing the events, but one looks a bit concerned. Peering over as the nosy little creature she is, she spots another mudokon, this one is rather tall, with skin even darker than her own and long jet black feathers draping down their back. Unfortunately, they don't seem quite as joyful as the other festival go-ers congregating around the pier and after a moment with the other two overseers, they head off in a completely different direction. Something about the whole interaction didn't seem quite right, so of course, Mya follows her gut, after the scent of another mud who might need an ear, or perhaps a new friend?
Wandering into the edge of the woodland surrounding the lake, she spots the tall, dark and mysterious mudokon once more, this time with intent to introduce herself. Before now she had avoided the contact in fear of rejection, or upsetting someone further, however this time she had grown to feel she must at least try.
"E-excuse me, I hope I'm not intruding...is everything alright?"
