Sooo did Lunaris Games kinda scam their entire community?
Like i didnt personally pay, nor did i play wtnc, so i don't have a horse in this race, but like
They promoted this HUGE game, launched a kickstarter, the kick succeded and thennn... nothing??? For years???
Not even a comment on "we've decided to stop developing games" or "sorry for the dissapointment and the money spent on a project that won't happen", or an update of any sort??? Just up and left with the money they gained?
Last update on itch was on December 2023, pushing the release to an ominous 2024 date.
Its been 3 years since they first promoted the game AT LEAST.
It just seems extremely sketchy and insincere imo, and a complete and utter betrayal of your customers, both new and old. Yes game developing can take several years, and can often end in failure, no one is questioning that. But the complete refusal to answer to any demands for money or answers? That's just shitty, scummy and dare I say scammy behaviour.
If you ever want to become a game dev, DON'T BECOME A LUNARIS
I'm getting back into When the Night Comes (played way back when chapters were being released and got into something else after the final one) and I desperately need to know if anyone saw Augustus 'the thigh high boots stay on during sex' Willenhiem and decided to write a fic about fucking them over their desk with the boots on? I'll do it myself if nobody has. Don't test me.

I will never learn how to properly link a chapter. Anyways, 2nd interlude
Summary: A monster lies dormant within the walls of Castle Dimitrescu and it's the lady of the house who determines that the silent gardener might just know more about it than they let on.
Or: the one where they're running out of time and staggering out of control.
Chapter Summary: Death is wholly unreliable. Worse than the narrator. Words are one thing. Perhaps not all-knowing but they are predictable. The narrator may spout lies at every turn–and so the audience expects this of them–but they leave ample room for failure. Lies matter only so much as the liar can pull them from memory. But what of the fool with half a mind? They are, by all definitions, an unreliable narrator. But any more than Death?
Idk if the WTNC fandom is still alive here on tumblr but I thought I’d post this here anyways. I drew August for my shadow studies for a uni assignment and they be looking sooo fucking gorgeous 😩😩
