Mm Juno Mars angst for you:

I think in all honestly mars would have very bad mental health days. Would get reports from medical the amount his men were Injured and would not handle it well. This resulted In him frequenting the gym more, over training. I think once Juno and him are togther Juno would be able to scope out those moods and offer a spar and try to end it fast. This back fires and mars yells at him for going easy on him and saying he should get rid of him if Juno thinks he can’t handle a fight.

Mars would storm out and think in a n escape pod.. if he should deploy it. I think caution (he’s the cmo of the 804th) is the one who finds him. Offers him a drink and a smoke., Mars sleeps in the barracks that night cause he thinks he’s ruined everything with Juno. He’s so sad and pathetic looking…Next morning at breakfast Juno just sits next to mars like usual and leans his head on his shoulder. Softly saying “it’s going to be okay” and “I’m sorry”

They both got silent tears down their faces and then they do a big hug. Caution had commed catacomb (morgue attendant of the 804th) to go to Juno the night before. They had a convo as well where cats went over the recent death number on the last mission, it was pretty bad. Buildings weren’t stable due to an earthquake the wouldn’t have been bad normally but there had been mining the separatists were doing near by
