Excitement wasn’t enough to describe how he was feeling that morning. Probably there were no words to do it. Almost three months passed since he left to the army and the same amount of time since he met Junsu, when he visited one of his last concerts to say goodbye. For the last ten years he never spent that much time away of him, and still felt odd not being able to call everytime he felt like. But finally the day had come, his beloved friend found time to come over for a couple of hours and have lunch with him. Junsu’s text said “This sunday. You. Me. Lunch. ✌” And Jaejoong laughed his life out. He missed the younger so much, there was so much to tell but at the same time wanted to have a pointless conversation as they always did. He definitely missed Kim Junsu.

Jaejoong spent a bit more of time than usual getting dressed that sunday after their usual training early in the morning. He wanted to give the best impression of himself and his uniform, so his friend could be proud of him and everything he already accomplished being enlisted in that short period of time.

Sundays were the day all the soldiers could spend as they wished, many of them exercised, just as Jaejoong usually did, while others played ping pong or read a good book. That specific day he wasn’t outside working out but waiting in the shared room for his call announcing his friend's arrival.
