Comm - Ryuko and Ranko (Anime TF/TG)

This week's commissions revisit some more favorite character transformations of mine by the always extremely talented @TF-Sential, featuring a character I admire a lot and another I generally have a lot of nostalgia for - those being the red-haired girls straight out of the anime hall of fame, Ryuko Matoi and Ranma (or Ranko, if you prefer) Saotome! Kill la Kill still holds up as one of my favorite anime in general, being the bombastic and over the top action adventure it is. Ranma 1/2 on the other hand was one of my gateway shows to anime in general, but probably more than a little influential on nudging me into the TF fandom, too, considering all the curses flying every which way during its run. All in all, I'd say Sential knocked 'em both out of the park, nailing Ryuko's bubbling rage and just the right energy for a Jusenkyou Curse taking its toll.

Paljon onnea! Toivon oikein mukavaa synttärin iloa sulle :D I actually thought Tatsuhisa would be a great for Adrien with his Makoto voice but as Adrien I also imagine his voice to be a bit soft like Yuki Kaji with his Kenma voice. Hiro Shimono for Nino came right straight for my head cause all the comic relief characters Shimono plays xD xD

Thank you for your birthday wishes! I haven’t hear Shimono (at least the name doesn’t ring the bell). I haven’t either heard Kenma’s voice, though Kaiji himself is familiar to me :3

YOU'RE WATCHING NIJIRO DAYS?!! Adjskgjkls. Too bad only 13 min. Are you also catching up with the manga? Btw, the Ouran thing, I think I saw same post like this last year and it was supposed to come last year but nothing really happened. Also I thought it was weird that Hikaru's English va knew about this. I mean shouldn't it come first in Japan and shouldn't original director and seiyuus announce this first in their country and then get dub? I thought that was very confusing :/

YESS i’ve been kind of slow to make daily edits but i’m trying and i’m catching up with the manga, though after reading the first few chapter it got me thinking that they have enough material for a 20 min. episode, besides for the first episode they ignore the whole situation natsuki had to face with his ex-girlfriend, if you listen to the OP theme you’ll se they are talking about what happened on that christmas night, would have liked to see that animated as an introduction to the story, but oh well…

And yes regarding the Ouran thing, well i thought the same thing but  he should know better than making jokes like that (if it is one), or say something like that without a source or permission, there are many fans who have been waiting for so long, so i don’t think is fair to get our hopes up, i really hope for Japan to announce a second season… soon.

Heippa! En itse asiassa tiedä kuinka moni seuraaja on Suomesta, mutta tiedän muutamia suomalaisia täältä. Ei me ainakaan yliedustettuina olla :D Ihanaa, että tulit seuraamaan, toivottavasti viihdyt!Asun nyt Helsingissä, mutta olen alunperin Savosta. Mun suosikkeja miesääninäyttelijöistä ovat Majima Junji, Kenjiro Tsuda ja Suwabe Junichi. Morikawa Toshiyuki on ihana rauhallisissa draamoissa ja Makoto Furukawa on ainakin ensimmäisen dramansa perusteella ihan todella, todella lupaava kuunneltava! Varmasti nousee suosikiksi, koska Furukawan ääninäyttely muistuttaa niin paljon Junjia. Suzuki Tatsuhisa on myös erittäin hyvä, erityisesti mikkityöskentely on mahtavaa!

Hi! It's me, again. You mention just now in your personal blog that you read Flower of Evil right? This is one of my favorite manhwas. It's very depressing/tragic to read and the brother happen to be very psychotic, which really suprised me. I really love this mangaka's work. Have you also read Savage Garden? Also done by the same mangaka.

Hello ^^ Savage Garden was quite interesting, but I didn’t like the ending... and poor Euan Shepard Kensington (he was my fav). Maybe I will post some caps from Evil Flowers and Savage Garden ;)

Hiiiiiiiiiii! So I checked the CITT drama a bit. Inho seems a bit soft compare to his webtoon counterpart. I dunno but the Inho I know is all WHAT DID YOU SAY PUNK?!!!!!!!! FUCK FUCk FUCK more curses along the wayxD he wasn't the lovable sarcastic punk I thought he would potray in the drama. I think the actor would be a good Mamura though. Speaking of that. I've the secondary guy syndrome. BIG part of me wants Inhoxseol become canon. Cause the chemistry and I can't figure jung the fuck out!

Webtoon!Inho has anger management issues, a lot more sarcastic and violent and I love that cause a) it shows this huge contrast with Jung with their personality issues b) how gradually he becomes soft and nicer because of his friendship with Sul 

So I kinda don’t like it when they reduced him to the usual “nice secondary guy” -sigh- And now I can’t help but ship them too >< Whereas in the webtoon, I ship the heroine with both guys so much. She has chemistry with both of them in there. 

(Btw, I actually re-read CITT in Naver and I’m glad that I read Oddsquad’s translations first cause they changed a lot of things there. Oddsquad is much more accurate and detailed.)

Hiiiiiiiiiiiii! So Nijiiro Days anime is out! HELL YEAH! Yeah, excited for MattsunxMari-chan screen time. Funny because at first, she really pissed me off because of her tsundere attitude but she started to dere it up around Mattsun so she's pretty neat :D i actually am rooting/more interested in Keiichi and Mattsun's sister ^^ Oh yeah citt drama is also out. Even now, I still prefer Sol with Inho but I support the otp. Oh sadist kun seiyuu is same as haru from free so I'm really excited xD

Hell to the YEAH!!! I still can’t believe they actually made it, wow O_o Though I wish they made the eps longer! ><

Hahaha, me too! I think what I love best about the ship is that it’s like a shoujo reversal where the girl is the “jerk with a heart of gold” and the guy who keeps liking her despite all that (which is perfect because we are supposed to view this manga in the guys’ POV). Their dynamic also kinda reminds me of Togyuu and Yuyuka from Hirunaka No Ryuusei - and I seriously need more ships like that, not the Usui/Misaki love-hate combo style but where the “hate genuinely transforms into love” kind of way! :D

And yes, tbh, the reason why I am not really fully supporting Jung/Sul is that I LOVE the dynamic between In Ho and Sul too. Their interactions were so much fun (and I mean, in the webtoon, not sure about the drama yet). I think I will support both ships no matter what.

Btw, are you reading Winter Woods? I need someone to fangirl over this series with. It’s AWESOME and the main ship is to die for.
