Happy Pride Moth! Have some Optimus/Ratchet, aka my favorite Transformers ship in the world, because literally how could it not be. Also the little swirls were like an idea I had, so they can't really wear rings and stuff cause like robots right (also neither would wear one due to their professions anyways like Ratchet is a medic)? So I thought instead I'd do like paint and little like rings on their audials cause I think it looks cute!
This ship (especially in TFP) man... like you're telling me that Ratchet is one of the only people alive who remembers Optimus as he was, when he was a scrappy little archivist who just wanted the world to change rather than a conduit of their worlds god? You're telling me that the two of them knew each other before the war, before their lives went south, and despite everything, literal millennia going by, the continue to remain by the other's side? You're telling me that they support each other and understand one another intrinsically? You're telling me their each others ties to a world now lost to time, only staying alive in their memories and I'm supposed to be normal about that!?
They make me sick. I need another TF universe where the two of them are actually around each other again, cause like what do you mean in (one run of) IDW they're both alive and they just like don't talk? Even in a friendship way that's crazy, like you're telling me you've known this person for years went through war with them and now you just don't speak??? Utter tragedy, I need them back. Or honestly... just give Optimus Prime friends again tbh, like I feel like that man has been put in solitary confinement by the narrative lately, #lethimhavebuddiesagain
