Hc that König can't/won't call his parents between 7pm and 8:15 local time bc that's when they watch the local news (called "Bundesland Heute" ("[whatever state you're in] today")) directly followed by ZIB ("Zeit im Bild", our national news) and he knows they probably won't pick up anyway.

In light of recent events (alternatively: things that come up every summer): If you go hiking where there might be cows (especially if there's calves as well), for the love of god don't take your dog with you.

Or if you have to take your dog with you please put it on a leash.

Mother cows will attack you if they feel threatened.

There's better ways to get onto the news.
