König x plus size reader
Due to severe budget cuts, there’s only one shitty sniper rifle left on base and a certain Austrian has gotten his hands on it before you could. That doesn’t mean you can’t help him though
Warnings: f!reader, reader has boobs, lots of guns in this one, reader is a sniper, slight power imbalance, size difference (König is canonically 6’10), no smut but tension, absolutely do not do anything in this fic, I just thought it was hot, slightly implied autistic!König WC: 1.7k Minors DNI Library- @hannibals-favourite-meal-library
“I’m sorry, I think I just had a stroke. Can you repeat yourself?” The older man sighed deeply, having already had this conversation several times over in the last hour alone. The supply room was hauntingly empty, the shelves bare save for a few scraps of fabric from uniforms that were too ancient to be used even as rags. You were evidently the last one in today, a consequence of treating yourself to an extra 15 minutes of sleep as a treat after a long mission away.
The Quartermaster gestured over his shoulder to the empty racks to his right. “We don’t have any more stands or rifles for that matter. We barely had enough bullets for the Beta team’s training mission this week. I’m sorry.” Part of you wanted to scream at the man, remind him exactly how you had gotten this position in one of the most elite military units in Europe. But then you sighed, letting your shoulders drop.
“Alright. Just, who picked up the last sniper rifle and is still on base?” He looked down his nose at the clipboard in his hands.
“Colonel König picked it up at 0600 hours.”

Salacia had never seen Greta nervous. She had begun to doubt the Austrian woman could feel said emotion. Yet she could sense it now. She grasped her hand kindly.
“My dad isn’t a scary guy, he’s British.” She murmured making Kate snort laugh as she’d overheard,
Greta laughed, “Of course you would bring that up.” She chuckled.
“What?” Hazel asked as she was trying to contain her own giggles.
“Mama...Greta...got a little tipsy one night and said that if there was one nationality she could never be intimidated by it was British. She said every business man she met in her life from the UK took themselves too seriously when using terms that sounded so silly to her.” Salacia explained.

Chapter 6:
Prologue Pt:1 Pt:2 Pt:3 Pt:4 Pt:5
Synopsis: In which your military unit, Taskforce 141, undertake their most straining mission yet. You are sent undercover in Kortacs base to extract stolen arsenal, but what happens when their colonel gets too close?
AN: this story is also on my wattpad!! @ilovedilfsandhateyou :3 I’ll be updating them both simultaneously x
The briefing was very efficient. They work differently to Taskforce141.
Rather than details and debates over an upcoming mission, they take the information in quickly with no questions asked.
The mission was intel. In and out. Easy.
Three soldiers were to be chosen for the job. All would sneak in, take the information and sneak out as if you were never there.
Everyone watched König speak and guide through the briefing intently. You happened to catch his eyes multiple times.
Of course your name was on the rota. You had yet to prove yourself to the others. Therefore you were a definitive candidate for this.
Looking over the other names listed, you smirk beneath your sniper hood.
No matter who joined you on this mission, you could see how they operate.
Their strengths and weaknesses...
Ideal in your circumstance.
By the end of the meeting, it had been decided that König and Horangi would be joining you.
Initially, you were irritated.
This stupid Colonel. He must've done it on purpose to keep toying with your mind. Whether he figured you out or had simply taken a liking towards you.
It was impossible to decide which just yet.
However, you came to realise even though you'd be forced into his presence (more than you'd like) you could decide what type of soldier he was.
How you could work around him when the main mission you undertook finally came about.
A dim navy sky washed over the landscape. Dark green muddy grass stretched for miles around you with trees ranging in shapes and sizes dotted around the land.
The countryside of Austria. A place you had never seen before.
It was quiet with only the wind making sudden appearances by whistling in your ears.
Beside you lay two men in the dark foliage, König and Horangi. The three of you had been waiting, watching and ever so slowly shuffling forward towards a farm.
This farm that lay ahead of you was the location you were ordered to retrieve the intel from. A farm surrounded by animals now resting for the night whilst hiding secrets of a military group who is suspected of working against kortac.
It also just so happens to be a military unit who you had worked alongside on previous missions in Taskforce 141.
You pushed that thought aside.
This wasn’t betrayal. This was for the greater good.
It was guarded- yet surprisingly less than you'd assume. Perhaps they were low on manpower.
"Now." König whispers, yet despite his hushed voice his tone was still as powerful and stern.
With his order the three of you crept closer and closer towards the dark wooden barn, still out of sight in your camouflaged gear and uniforms.
The tall dark wood of the building stood over you, casting a cover in the already dark atmosphere. The three of you slowly rose to your feet, yet crouched in an attempt to keep your bodies from taking up too much space.
Stealth was needed for this mission. Yet that was no issue for you. The British military train their soldiers based more on stealth than power.
That's the key to being the victor on the battlefield.
It doesn't matter how built or trained an enemy is as long as they don't see you coming- a motto your old captain gave before every mission.
Horangi glanced round the side of the barn, peering over to the guards stood by the entrance.
One was smoking, lazily holding his rifle as the other gazed across the landscape taking his job far more seriously than the other.
Horangi turned back to you and König, deciphering the next move.
König looked down to you, judging to see if you'd take the lead.
You blatantly ignored his eyes before whispering an order to horangi. He nodded and followed your command.
His body moved silently back to the edge of the wall, peering subtly to the entrance where the guards stood, awaiting your move.
Before König could piece the plan together, you reappeared on the other side of the barn also peering from behind the wall at the guards.
König smirked under the mask as he watched you and Horangi.
Almost frighteningly silently, you crept behind the guard closest to you. The one whom was more focused, giving you the harder target.
However, you were on this mission to prove yourself. So, prove yourself you did.
Horangi mirrored your movement behind the smoking guard and in sync the two of you strike. One hand over their mouth, the other holding a pocket blade to their thick throats and slicing it mercilessly.
Two loud thumps hit the ground as the men collapsed. They chocked and groaned while blood spewed out their bodies before their gasping eased into nothingness.
König stepped forward, locking eyes with you before returning to the mission ahead. You saw a glint of something in his eyes, but you were unsure of exactly what.
Pride?
Could be.
Curiosity?
Possibly...
Jealousy?
Unlikely.
Passion?
Also unlikely.
Obsession?
Maybe...
The tall Austrian stood outside the barn doors, leaning his ear under the hood against it and listening for any men inside.
It seemed to be empty.
He looked back at you and horangi, ensuring you were both ready before opening the wide door gradually.
Silence ate away inside the barn.
It was too quiet. Almost unnaturally.
The two men with you walked around with a silence that seemed impossible, given how large they were, and checking in every possible crevice for the intel.
You scanned the room from the doorway, still uneasy over the silence inside.
It didn't feel normal.
It was too easy to get in.
Just as Horangi searched a wooden crate, the darkness moved.
Your body went into fight or flight mode. Breath held by your lungs and eyes stuck onto the emptiness beside your teammate.
Everything happened so fast.
One minute you're scanning the room carefully, the next your combat knife is flung swiftly through the air and into a dark figures neck.
Horangi jumped into action by the sound of a man chocking on his own blood, finally noticing the hidden guard before finishing him off.
König swivelled to face the action, gun raised and ready.
"Nice one, lieutenant." Horangi muttered before looking over to you, blood splattered over his gloves.
You nod before moving around the room to aid in the search for intel.
König had paused, watching you again with those watery blue eyes that could pierce through walls.
Once again, you ignored his look as a thought struck your mind...
He already knew there was a guard present, he just wanted to see what you'd do.
Maybe, you doubt he'd ever admit to that.
Before long the information had been discovered. A few maps, some paperwork spreadsheets and descriptions of the bombs this unit was holding.
The mission was almost over, the three of you just needed to make it back.
"We should go. Before more guards arrive." König declared in one more hush tone before leading the three of you out.
Everything outside the barn remained as it was. The cold air still pricking your skin, wind occasionally blowing into your ears, two guards slumped over on the grass, animals still resting in their flocks.
Within seconds you were crawling back through the grass on your stomach.
These soldiers were highly efficient. And from your time so far being here, you noticed they all were incredibly strong and tall.
You thought Ghost was a tall guy? The men here could probably reach the sun if they stretched out enough.
Maybe that was where all their focus went.
Power and speed.
All you could see ahead of you was that damn mountain of a man, crawling.
How does he possibly sleep at night?!
He must get an extra wide and lengthy bed.
How unfair on the other soldiers.
Just because he's too tall for his own good, you scoff internally.
Personally, you'd be raging at Laswell for allowing Ghost to have a larger bed than yours.
Your eyes land beside you, seeing sheep huddled up in groups and sleeping peacefully.
It was calming.
How easy it must be to live as a sheep. Their pack is chosen for them already. They live simple lives. They don't need to scavenge around looking for a form of income after education. They don't need to stress over paying rent or finding a job that won't see you as some worthless intern.
It's so simple-
"Magda." A voice called, sounding impatient and cutting you from your thoughts from before joining the military.
You look over and we're greeted by Horangi's masked face amongst the grass.
"Tak? (Yes?)" you responded all while the three of you continued to crawl your way back to the treeline and mossy foliage.
"Thanks for that out there. I'd be a goner if it wasn't for you." He whispered over to you with a smile audible in his voice. "You're really sharp." He added.
Teammates complimenting your abilities: tick!
Magdalena will do just fine here.
"Thank you." You utter quietly before turning to face ahead of you again.
Your first mission was a success. Now- plenty more to work through before the true job was complete.
That bloody missile was coming home with you.
