Thinking about this because of that post that's like "just be!"

Since I moved out, it's interestingly enough a lot easier to just get on with life without unnecessarily judging myself for every tiny thing somehow. I think it's cause since I'm not living with my dad I don't feel like I have to worry about accidentally upsetting him with every little thing I do (or more importantly don't do (regrettably, big fan of inaction and being lazy)) so leaving the dishes a day late is no longer a catastrophe and guilt spiral it's just. At worst a minor inconvenience because the dishes I need are dirty and take a few minutes to wash. So basically somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 of my executives failing to function was really just oh god I'm stuck living with someone who has made my whole life difficult (which is a paralyzing feeling, which only makes it that much harder to do anything)

So anyway whether he meant to or not (I'm guessing not, given that he seemed to want me to move out) my dad sort of made me feel helpless to get out and live on my own by making living with him so exhausting. I imagined it would only be more difficult, getting out on my own, but honestly so far it's felt easier
