re: some people being able to taste things like tannins or whatever it is that makes cilantro taste like soap vs other people not being able to taste those things, is there something similar with the smell of specific kinds of mold/mildew? because there's a room at work that has smelled overwhelmingly like that for some time now & I've tried to tell people about it but nobody seems to notice it & nothing's been done about it. I can barely stand to go in there it smells so strong. wait I should bring this up now while it's the slow season. maybe we could do something about it

well. internet searches being what they are these days I couldn't find any official sites confirming this but I did find anecdotal evidence on reddit that some people can smell mold/mildew when no one else can?

#really really bad. I think it may be the washer/dryer in there. they broke & may have been left sitting with laundry in them...#? I don't know though.#it may be that the whole room just smells like that (it's a small room) & everything would have to be taken out & cleaned etc #to get rid of that smell. I don't know #it did puzzle me that nobody else seems bothered by that smell #maybe they can't smell it ? I'm not sure how to find out if that could be the case #wikipedia maybe.. hmm

so the plan with my stupid shoes is I'm gonna keep adding layers of cardboard in as the cardboard inevitably flattens out until I have a solid settled height for what I have to add to my shoe to make up for my legs being uneven & then I'll see about getting some actual shoe inserts that are that height. hopefully. because the cardboard does slide around sometimes which is annoying & also if I get my shoes wet the cardboard will get nasty probably so.. it's not a permanent fix

#😭 it's ridiculous how big a difference it makes.#I had to try to help a coworker lift something yesterday & I felt mostly useless because my back muscles were not engaging right because I #was standing unevenly because the cardboard in my shoe had flattened out more than I realized #if it were the right height I'd have had a much easier time trying to help with the lifting #which seems crazy because it's like.. my legs are not that different. but it throws everything off so bad #literally wrecks my ability to use any of my strength in any kind of way #😭 it's ridiculous

ran out of my adhd meds prescription yesterday 😑 won't be getting more for at least a couple of days. breakfast has been some leftover microwave popcorn from last night and a can of mountain dew I got for free from work. it's not good 😐 I just wanted to try it because I honestly don't know that I've ever tried it before. I love popcorn though at least

the absurdity happening here. today is the third day that whoever is delivering the mini trampoline I ordered will be attempting to deliver it. Unfortunately, it seems my building is fairly late in their route. which means that they always get there after management's office is closed for the day, meaning no one is there to let them in, & also I'm at work so I can't even let them in or anything. 💀 stupid. am I under some kind of curse regarding online orders and deliveries

#I'd probably keep doing this but only part time instead of 40 hrs/week. it keeps me sane but 40 hrs of anything is Too Much #unless ☝️ that thing is what I really wanna do. if I had the time & energy I'd put so many more hours into music stuff #but I can't because I have to work full time. u see the dilemma

I have to laugh though the dr was like stimulant medications can give you insomnia/make insomnia worse & I was like ok true.. but in my head I was like y'know I think I may be built different cause I can drink a cup of coffee & then immediately sometimes instead of waking me up it'll make me more sleepy. I had coffee with lunch & now I feel like taking a nap
