CAPCUT DELAY WHEN I CATCH YOU CAPCUT DELAY.......
There's nothing like having coworkers who are fellow language nerds. R (left) gets it. He knows what pleases an editor :D
Seriously though... thinking about all the kids (girls) who were made to feel stupid because they just didn’t ‘get’ maths in school and just lived with that for years, when there are grown men out there who throw tantrums whenever someone points out that they’re not using very basic grammar correctly.
I can count on no hands the number of times a woman or nonbinary person has questioned my edits. Men do it all. The. Time. They simply cannot conceive that they might be wrong! They’ve decided that English is a soft subject, a girl subject, and so even though they never put in the work to learn the basics they’re convinced that they’re qualified to argue with me about it. It’s exhausting.
is it just me or when you look thru the tags of your edit and you see that everyone is gassing your edit up you just feel like a star.... ur living in the limelight
my vegas project file corrupted and i thought i was going to die: a saga
(Voice of Silas deserved to be purged due to their lack of adherence to newspaper styles.)
*gets annoyed that the Silas U newspaper doesn’t follow AP or other international editing styles and the paragraphs are too big for newspaper style*
