Came home with the team pagers still on my body after a night shift.

It was only a matter of time.

So felt bad that I miscommunicated with my supervisor that I wanted to end my intern this week instead of next week cuz I realized I already had enough hours AND I have a ton of shit waiting for me to do/study.

Anyways, I think I will be meeting him again to clear up admin matters. And I’ll be going down in two weeks for a presentation before I can say I actually end.

But for now, let’s celebrate small victories!!!

do you ever just write a letter on behalf of a cabinet minister and think “what the fuck am i doing? i’m just an intern my dudes.” but then also my manager goes and gives me two ministerial consults where i analyse papers and let the minister know if there are/aren’t any massive issues
