Ran into someone at school who I used to talk a lot about dr who with. He's a huge geek and I used to hang out with him a lot but goddammit.

I asked him:"Did you see the season 12 finale? It was so epic!"

To which he replied:"nah ever since the 13th doctor came in it's been utter garbage. I watched like 3 episodes of season 11 and didn't like it. There's no more dr who vibe and she has CRYSTALS and that's not the tardis vibe I like."

So I understand what he meant with the first few episodes of season 11. They were less sci fi than we're used to. So I told him how great season 12 was and how the cibermen and the master are back and that it's really good and really in the vibe of the other seasons and how he should check it out.

So he hit me with the "not my doctor shit"

Man I was so annoyed. I ofc didn't show it but then he and his friend (who is my ex) started making fun of the fact that I often exist in the shipping side of fandom and stuff even though that had nothing to do with what we were talking about.

But yeah that saddened me so I was like: Aight I'm gonna go back and sit with my real freinds even tho they've never seen the show they like it when I rant happily.

I’m actually really worried about Silver Rings, chapter 14. Because it’s a) one scene and b) that one scene is entirely on a couch. There’s very little action. Very little movement. It’s almost entirely dialogue. Just. A conversation. From start to finish. And while I’ve done that before, I can never shake the feeling that it’s going to be badly received or scoffed at.

I’ve had some negative feedback on chapters I wasn’t certain of, and it’s really knocked my confidence, because I was already uncertain, and I didn’t ask for criticism, and I received some that I wasn’t prepared for.

I guess I just. Fear that this chapter won’t be taken the way I want it to be taken, and that I’ll be called a hypocrite for arguing against one thing but being perceived to do it anyway, and I’m trying not to. I fear being told its OOC, but I hope that it isn’t.

I dunno. My confidence in my writing has been really shaky lately. I don’t like it.

Anyway, Silver Rings, CH14, just crossed 5k. It’s almost done. Probably caps out before 6k. We’ll see.

Feeling sleepy might me a sign of hypoglicemia. Caffeine makes the glucose levels in the blood to go woopsie and it then makes you hypoglicemic, making you feel weak. I am hypoglicemic and caffeine also makes me sleepy. Take care!! ♡
