I got told how pretty I looked multiple times yesterday

Which is weird

Like, in a good way but

It was weird to have people look at me and think I looked pretty when I thought I looked horrible and like similar to how I always look

It was just odd

To be told I looked pretty three times

Someone even commented on my bad makeup job

Someone else my jacket

What?

Idk it’s just weird to me bc I really did not look pretty

I literally looked like I always look and maybe worse

And I don’t really care how others perceive my physical appearance most of the time, I usually just dress up for me

So it was just odd…

Out of the blue…

For people to say I’m pretty?

Idk it was just strange

Like, why?

And then my brain’s like, ‘were they just saying that because I looked so bad they pitied me?’ ‘How did I look any different than usual?’

It had been a WEIRD week, and just when he was starting to think things couldn't get any weirder, he'd be damned if somebody didn't stalk up behind him and fucking pick-pocket him in broad daylight!

Unable to help himself, he just... shouted at the sky, as one does

"God!?"

Because really, at this point, what other explanation was there? Unless Lucifer himself was playing some type of prank on him for exactly no reason whatsoever, not like he even believed in that little bastard anyway.....

Summoning what little mental and emotional energy he had left, he started after the theif- what else could he do?

Retail is fun because sometimes you'll have to leave the register for 15 seconds to get water (no food or drink allowed at the register 😀), but doing this will piss off a customer so much that they curse and storm out of the store without purchasing anything
