The last of us show is great, I really enjoyed watching it, with one minor qualm. At the beginning of the first episode, when Sarah is in class, there is a close up of her holding a ballpoint papermate inkjoy (I would include a screenshot, but I can't be bothered to do it. Just trust me, it even says the brand.) This portion of the episode is set in 2003, despite the papermate website saying that the inkjoy line wasn't even available until 2011.
While this is a very small issue, it is something that should have been thought about by the set dressers. A Bic crystal would have been a good choice for a pen that fits in any time period, but I think they wanted to use a brightly colored pen to show Sarah's innocence or whatever. A papermate clear point pencil would have been a good option to fit the timeline (it was released in 2000) if it was a matter of product placement.
