Be fucking kind to one another.
Somebody lube my ears, because Inside Man was an absolute mindfuck.
Obviously still thinking about Pok and Tong how they're going to work this out.
Because its apparent that they're both still in love, deeply in love, especially Tong who just wants to try and take care of Pok the way he has been.
The biggest part of this story is going to be figuring out how Pok can forgive Tong the way he desperately wants to forgive him.
Tong is going to do everything he can to take care of Pok from a distance. He's stinging from the broken promise (though, he did deserve it) and he's aching with the love he finally let himself express and he just wants to be sure that Pok is still happy and safe.
Frankly, Tong is kind of a reflection of Sandee in some ways.
Sandee is in love with Phai and went down the road to being evil, to trying to find Phai's happiness by force.
Tong is in love with Pok and is going down a much softer, most desperate road, trying to keep him safe and watch out for him.
The biggest difference is that Pok is in love with Tong and knows that Pok loves him. There's a different kind of forgiveness in play than Phai who doesn't truly know that Sandee loves him or why he's doing this except out of a sense of destiny.
The worst sound you will ever hear...
Imagine.
You went to bed and tucked your glasses under your pillow because you are a danger to everyone should you get up without them.
You wake up to that sound.
That hated, evil sound.
Of your glasses falling behind your bed.
Buck made sure to be quiet as he shut the door. Eddie and Christopher should be in bed and he didn’t want to wake them up. He’d made the couch up before he left for shift this morning, so he’d just crash down here and see them in the morning. It sucked with Eddie not being there at work right now, but Buck had been making it work.
Buck went to the couch, where there was already a lump sprawled out. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out it was Eddie; he was snoring softly, so Buck quietly sat his stuff down in the corner and headed to the bathroom to do his nightly routine.
