So when Rowan is at U.A there is a little arch in his story where he is overusing his power and creating distortions for himself and his own reality.
The give away to what was wrong with him for the past few weeks was when Rowan suddenly fell from his chair while Mr. Aizawa was finishing up class. Mr. Aizawa notices that there is suddenly a burn on the males neck that wasn’t there earlier.
“Rowan, you have a burn on your neck. That wasn’t there at the start of class.” He points out and Rowan becomes terrified.
“S-sorry sir, I’m just having trouble with my quirk lately.” He admits and thats when he gets pulled aside and lectured about using his quirk too much and causing himself harm. He ends up being put in classes after school to help him control himself.
Then that’s when Mr. Aizawa finds out about Rowan’s home life/upbringing. How he was bullied for having such an ‘evil’ quirk and then his parents throwing him out at age 8. Making him sleep in the backyard. Much like a dog. That’s what he is to his parents anyways. Basically that’s when his backstory gets revieled and like, Mr. Aizawa adopts him basically. He talks to the principal then the police and offically adopts him. Helping him out and trating him like his own child as he did adopt the male.
