Like, to me, fundamentally, Hen Wilson is a liar, not just to others but also to herself. She is someone who loves sincerely and thoroughly, and still she lies, and she'll say that it's to protect someone else, but at the core it's about protecting herself from having to deal with the reason behind her mistakes. She's tried so hard all her life to prove she is good at what she does, that she has earned what she has, but does she really think she deserves any of it? Does she really believe that she deserves the happy family with two children and a space genius wife who is a total knockout?
Watching The Reckless because Shawn Hatosy, Off Course, he plays a Detective Terry McCandless, and I can't stop thinking ( with what I see till episode 4) that is soo Young Charlie Reid, like Early days as a COP.
PLEASE don't read on if you haven't watched the show and plan to, currently not finished, etc, this is such a solid piece of media I truly suggest watching it first :)
Okay, first off, wtf Mr. Martin, did NOT see that twist there and glad it was able to be pulled off like they did
Second, if it's confirmed through Maddie's final moments that ghosts CAN interact with the living.....Mr. Martin being the killer, does he have a role to play in everyone else's deaths?
Like if he was responsible for Janet's demise then maybe the other kids are stuck because he was responsible for them too?
With Wally's final play mapped out, who's to say that HE wasn't the one to snap Wally's neck, not some freak accident?
Or with Dawn, I need to get better at my pause and rewind skills, but it's totally possible Dawn isn't the one to knock over the coffee(?) cup that cause the electrical malfunction
And with Charley, theres so many things that could have been tampered with in the cafeteria kitchen to set off Charley's allergy, or alternativly, the lost epipen.
It just seems off these are all "freak accidents"
With the Simon-Maddie thing, I originally thought it might have something to do with her not being completely dead?
but it still doesn't explain why only Simon can see Maddie and only Maddie, not to mention Maddie seeing Mr.Matin and Janet(?) before her death
Lastly, matching places Simon can see Maddie mostly makes sense with the renovations pointed out already, but who died in the gym? Am I missing something?
Don't get me wrong, I am no expert in theories and JUST finished my binge, but I'd love to hear your thoughts 🩷🩷
My particular flavor of autism makes me less susceptible to some aspects of social psychology that cause a lot of problems for others which is neat for me but it makes me wonder how we can educate people to be less susceptible to these pitfalls
Like for an example a lot of people don’t like wearing face masks if they’re the only person doing it.
( im not immune to societal pressures either of course. Thinking oneself above these things ends up leading to being MORE susceptible because you aren’t tuned in to it.)
Genuine question. But like has it actually even been said that the vials Wolfwood chugs take away some of his life to heal or was that just an assumption made by the fans???
Cause if it doesn't actually do that I have some very interesting theories about how long Wolfwood can actually live (y'know, if the couch didn't happen). It would certainly explain why he doesn't look that old. Like yes, he was forced to age. BUT he looked to be in his 20s when he was still young and, AND, years later, Wolfwood now actually being in his mid to late 20s, he still looks relatively the same and not say, in his 30s going on 40.
It's almost like he has the same aging issue as the $$60 billion man, who has lived for over a century at this point.
